Wanderlei Silva Signed $10 Million Contract to Fight Mike Tyson!

The 53-year-old fighter Mike Tyson is getting back to the cage this time. According to our source, he is trying to join a couple of exhibition bouts and currently staying at his top shape. Now, many are checking to see who will be his next opponent. So far, we manage to catch a few names like Evander Holyfield and Shannon Briggs in the big picture. However, other unlikely names also appeared during the discussion.

The former UFC champion Tito Ortiz also shared that Tyson’s representatives had contacted and offered him the fight. Today, Wanderlei Silva is the next name added to the ongoing list. It started when Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships President Dave Feldman wants to put Silva up against ‘Iron Mike’ in a bare-knuckle war, something that is never going to happen.

For Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships, they are very interested in savage violence between many former UFC and Bellator fighters. Their top high-profile matchup so far was the match between Paulie Malignaggi and Artem Lobov. On the other hand, Silva is their most recent signing. Now, why does Feldman want Silva for the fight with Tyson? First, he is offering Tyson a hefty amount of $20million to box bare-knuckle. Notably, the President has reportedly tried to offer ‘The Ax Murderer’ a contract too. Feldman shared recently: “No matter how old Silva gets, he’s dangerous, and I think that would be an intriguing matchup. Something like that, but I don’t actually have anything in mind right now,”

On the other side, Silva seems to be very happy about the chance to join this fight. The veteran Brazilian fighter is looking at a great payday. However, the chances of this clash are very slim. Silva’s last fight was with Quinton’ Rampage’ Jackson in 2018, where he lost. Nevertheless, Tyson’s previous match was in 2005, when he was knocked out by Kevin McBride. “They offered me a $10 million-plus pay-per-view percentage, and I accepted immediately. I hope Feldman can make it happen,” – shared Silva.
