Sean O’Malley Finished UFC 250 with Stunning Walk-Off KO!

When USADA pinged him, Suga Show had to stand back from the cage for two years. However, judging his latest match, the time he spent on the sidelines has done him good. It looks like his skills have reached its full potential. At the UFC 250 event taking place in Las Vegas last week, Sean O’Malley took on the former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland.

While the promotion initially wanted this matchup to be a step-up in competition for him, O’Malley had performed brilliantly. Rocking the rainbow-dyed cornrows, Suga Show now claims that he’s the most exciting striker in the UFC. Well, it’s safe to say he’s in this way. His rival, Wineland, spots a mustache straight out of 19th-century bare-knuckle brawls.

Before the match, many have raised the question of how O’Malley would manage in a smaller cage. He’s the type of guy that likes to move around, but the Apex cage will prevent him from his usual tactics. In the early stage, Wineland had taken advantage of this when he tried to charge forward in his trademark eccentric stance. However, O’Malley was quick to avoid taking any significant damage. Despite finding his groove, the former champion found himself unconscious sudden. When he missed a spinning back kick, Suga Show successfully faked an uppercut, then managed to smash his rival in the jaw. What a stunning KO!

What Next for O’Malley?

Now that he has made a grand comeback, many are questioning who O’Malley’s next opponent should be. On one side, we could see a potential matchup with Cody Garbrandt, who also won on the night. On the other hand, John Dodson could also be a candidate. Who would you like to see entering the cage? Please drop a comment to let us know!
