McGregor Team Unveils Three Potential Contenders for His Next Fight!

During his journey to become the most successful mixed martial artist in the history of the game, John Kavanagh has been a constant support for Conor McGregor. As a result, Kavanagh usually receives lots of questions regarding the Notirous whenever he does interviews. Recently, he had shared some interesting information regarding his client’s future potential clashes. Notably, Kavanagh listed many names while being adamant about McGregor’s retirement.

Answering a question about McGregor’s current status, Kavanagh didn’t give anything away. While many think it could be a bargaining tactic of the Irishman, Kavanagh just played dumb. “Yes, he is retired, as far as I can tell. That’s what he said, isn’t it? I can’t convince Conor to do sh*t. Conor will tell Conor what he’s gonna do”. Besides, he also added: “And who knows? Who knows what’s gonna happen in the future? But as for now, he’s retired.”

On the other hand, he mentioned some names that he would like McGregor to meet in the cage. One of the first guys is Justin Gaethje. Furthermore, the two rematches with Khabib Nurmagamedov and Nate Diaz are also in his vision. “Three fights I would like to see, I’ll give you my top three. It would be Gaethje, I would love that fight, it would be awesome. Diaz, the trilogy, and the Khabib rematch,” he revealed. There is a big chance that a match with Gaethje could happen if he manages to beat Khabib.

A shot at the Welterweight title?

Kavanagh and McGregor Team also didn’t leave out the possibility of a welterweight title fight. We’re sure that the Notorious would love the title of the first three-weight champion in UFC history. Nevertheless, the currently champion Kamaru Usman would make an atrocious match-up for him.
