Manny Pacquiao vs Terence Crawford

Manny Pacquiao will accept to fight Terence Crawford for $40M!

After more than a year of staying on hiatus, Manny Pacquiao is reportedly searching for a chance to get back in the ring. The boxer has begun his training from what we heard and got in shape to fight any opponents. Furthermore, his excellent hand speed is as good as ever, with no contenders coming close to his range. During his last interview, Pacquiao claimed that he would continue to train even without an upcoming fight.

At the age of 42, his condition remains astonishing. Now, the big question is who Pacquiao will be meeting in the ring. So far, there is no word on any ongoing deal. However, he did mention a name in a recent interview as his next rival: Terence Crawford. Moreover, their potential match would need to come with a hefty price of $40M. While both sides do have history, it remains unclear that Crawford’s promoter Bob Arum would be willing to pay that much.

Terence Crawford

“I like to fight somebody who has a title. We told Bob I get $40 million and Crawford gets $10 million. I will fight anybody. You know me, I don’t back away from any challenge.” – Pacquiao claimed. Due to his inactivity, Pacquiao’s status has changed to champion in recess. Whether he’s the underdog than Terence Crawford, the boxer will no doubt charge on. We have to applaud him for not ducking such a formidable opponent.

Terence Crawford’s current ranking

On the other hand, Crawford is now the reigning WBO welterweight title. He archived the title when defeating Jeff Horn. Among his peers, the champion remains one of the best boxers. Both sides are interested in this fight from the look of it, but the final decision lies in Top Rank’s Bob Arum.
