The upcoming boxing match between Jack Paul and Ben Askren has been a hot topic in town these past few weeks. In a new podcast with Mike Tyson, Dana White has made some interesting comments on the two fighters. In detail, the UFC President claimed that Paul would lose to Askren in the fight. Explaining this reason, White stated that Askren has a better fighting resume than his opponent.

While his career at the UFC didn’t last long, he’s still a highly decorated wrestler. Before joining the promotion, Askren was an undefeated champion in ONE FC and Bellator, two major MMA organizations. Based on his view, the American fighter has experience fighting some tough opponents before, thus giving him enough moves and tactics to win over Paul easily.

If you remember, Askren could come out of the match against Robbie Lawler, one of the hardest hitters in the division. White even claimed that he would be $1 Million that Paul will be the loser in this match. The only problem is that Askren just came back from a hip replacement surgery, affecting his performance. On the other hand, Boxing Legend Zab Judah has another idea. According to him, Paul does have some mean punch in him. In his prime, Judah even went against Floyd Mayweather and gave him a hard time in the cage. As a result, his credentials could be legit.

Previous beef

Another reason for such a statement from White could be due to their feud on social media before. He and Paul have exchanged some heated words, where the president dismissed Paul’s message of wanting to fight McGregor. The president even suggested Amanda Nunes as an opponent for Paul instead. On the other side, Jake Paul was quick to share his reaction to the bet. He seems to be pumped for the match, which excites his fandom even more.
