HOT: Conor McGregor Announced Manny Pacquaio Boxing Match!

According to the Notorious’ manager Audie Attar, they are now in advanced negotiations for a return match against Manny Pacquaio. As Attar’s Paradigm Sports is now representing both sides, the process should run smoother this time. Up to now, ‘The Pacman’ remains the only eight-weight champion in boxing history. Furthermore, he is also the owner of the WBA welterweight title.

At 42 years old, the Filipino boxer is currently running on sixty-two wins and only seven losses. Without a doubt, he’s one of the greatest Asian athletes of all-time and one of boxing’s icons. On the other hand, McGregor already proved himself as the two-title featherweight and lightweight champion. Nevertheless, his lone boxing memory was a loss to Mayweather by TKO.

Now that the Irishman is getting ready to fight Pacquaio, he would need to prepare better. Speaking on social media about his dreams of getting a boxing title, he shared: “I was pushing hard for the season. Multiple opponents, multiple dates offered throughout. All to take place back to back. Then when covid hit and the talk was that I would have to wait for crowds again, I walked away from the situation. I was waiting long enough at that stage.” The Notorious followed up with a tweet regards his rival: “Anyway all water under the bridge who gives a f**k. I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East.”

Mixed Reaction

As usual, the news of his decision sparked a big debate. Many didn’t believe that McGregor could beat Pacquaio. However, regarding his styles, name recognition, and prestige, this match would be the biggest fight for the Irishman.
