At the UFC Vegas 29 last week, Dan Ige made a massive leap when he scored a main-event fight against “The Korean Zombie.” However, he didn’t manage to get too far in the featherweight depth chart this time. During the five-round scrap, the rising fighter did have his moments, but it wasn’t enough to defeat his opponent. In the end, Chan Sung Jung finished the match with a unanimous decision win.

Meanwhile, the Korean fighter had just come back from a stinging loss against Brian Ortega. Had he won this fight, there was a big chance that he could receive a spot on the title contender list. In his career at the promotion, Sung Jung has been fightings against big names like Frankie Edgar and Dustin Poirier. If you are a fan of his, it’s best not to watch his lousy fight.

Despite being among the 145-pound elite, he was outclassed by Ortega and even went down a couple of times. Nevertheless, “The Korean Zombie” shows that his level is still unmatched for his opponent this time. His moves were as sharp as ever, making Ige defenseless after throwing a bunch of takedowns and strikes. Furthermore, his wrestling also came in handy, leading to him dominating the ground and getting a knockdown.

Future rival

After the fight, Sung Jung called out for Max Holloway, citing ‘Max Holloway doesn’t have punching power, but I do. I can beat him. Although Holloway’s knockout skill isn’t his strength, the man packs some heavy volume punches. He either breaks you mentally or sends you to sleep with permanent damage.
